Who is Des Hunt?

Des Hunt is a New Zealand based children's author which means that he is a man who writes books for children. He writes books that are mainly appropriate for the ages 8-13 but anyone who wants to read Des Hunt books should read them, I recommend Des's books. Des Hunt was born on the 29 December 1941 which makes him 75 years old, wow that is old (no offence) for an author who still writes children based books, he must really be a child on the inside. He was born in Palmerston North so hello to the northern New Zealanders reading this!😂 

Why am I writing about Des Hunt out of the blue?

In my habitat (Learning Habitat 6) we have literacy and not to brag or anything but I'm a brilliant reader meaning I go into Mrs Pearson's literacy group. In our literacy group, we have literature circles and our books are all written by the man himself, Des Hunt so our lovely learning coach(LC) Mrs Pearson thought why don't we research about Des.
